Your kit may have taken the shape of its packaging during transport. Follow these steps to ensure a perfect installation and long-lasting results.
1. Preparing the Kit
- Lay the kit flat in a warm place (15-20°C) for a few hours.
- Help it regain its original shape by gently flattening it and removing any air bubbles.
2. Cleaning the Surface
- Thoroughly clean and degrease the car's surface.
- Tip: This step is crucial for proper adhesion.
3. Cutting the Pieces
- Carefully cut out the 6 pieces of the kit using scissors.
- Keep the transfer film on each piece to make application easier.
4. Applying the Kit
- Gently separate the transfer film from the backing paper, ensuring the sticker remains attached to the film.
- Position the stone guard on the car's surface and apply it from one side to the other.
- Use a squeegee or a credit card to remove air bubbles, working from the center outward.
5. Finishing Touches
- Once applied, carefully remove the transfer film.
- The stone guard will stay securely attached to your car's surface.
Important Precautions
- Dry application only: Do not use water or any application products.
- Ideal temperature: Work in an environment with a temperature between 15-20°C.
- Handle with care: Take your time to ensure a clean and durable result.
