Installation Guide – Rear Decal Porsche 924 / 944

🔧 Step-by-step installation

1. Storage before installation
Store the sticker flat in a room at 15–20 °C for several hours to allow the vinyl to relax naturally.

2. Surface preparation
Thoroughly clean and degrease the rear hatch. Any residue of wax, dust, or grease may affect adhesion.

3. Cutting the decal
The decal is delivered in one piece. Cut it at the center along the dotted line to form two halves. This simplifies the installation and ensures symmetrical alignment.

4. Dry positioning
Before peeling off the backing paper, position the two halves to check alignment. Start from the center and adjust outward. Use masking tape if necessary to mark reference points.

5. Application
Remove the white backing (the graphic stays on the transparent transfer film). Apply starting from the center and smooth outward using a soft squeegee or plastic card.

6. Removing the transfer film
Slowly peel off the transparent film, making sure the decal remains well adhered. Avoid washing the vehicle for at least 24 hours after application.

⚠️ Important: Dry application only – do not use water or spray solution.
