General Terms and Conditions of Sale (English version)

For information purposes only – In case of dispute, only the French version shall prevail
Effective as of August 20, 2025

1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“T&Cs”) govern the sales made on the Decalkoo website (www.decalkoo.com) between the seller (“the Seller”) and its customers, whether individuals or professionals, worldwide.

3. Products
Products are described with the utmost care. Photographs and visuals are non-contractual. Customized products or made-to-order items may present slight variations inherent to the manufacturing process.

4. Prices, taxes & currencies

  • Prices may be displayed and paid in EUR, USD, CAD, AUD, GBP.

  • Prices include applicable taxes in accordance with the regulations in force. For shipments outside the European Union, local taxes and customs duties may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Currency conversions, fees and exchange rates are provided by the payment provider (mainly PayPal) at the time of checkout.

5. Ordering & validation

  • Selection of one or more products, adding to cart and validating the cart.

  • Identification / account creation or guest checkout.

  • Choice of address, delivery method and payment method.

  • Order summary, acceptance of the T&Cs, secure payment.

The contract is concluded upon payment confirmation. An order confirmation email is sent to the customer. The Seller reserves the right to refuse an order for legitimate reasons (suspected fraud, non-payment, inconsistent address, etc.).

6. Payment
Payments are secured via PayPal and all payment methods available on the PayPal platform. No banking data is stored by Decalkoo.

7. Delivery
Carriers: La Poste, DHL, UPS. Default Incoterm: DAP – Delivered At Place (duties and taxes borne by the recipient if applicable).

  • France: average delivery time 2 to 3 business days

  • Europe: average delivery time 4 to 7 business days

  • International: average delivery time 10 to 15 business days

Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on the carrier and customs formalities.
Delivery costs are displayed to the customer before order validation.

8. Product receipt
Upon delivery, the customer is invited to check the condition of the parcel and its contents. In case of anomaly (damaged parcel, missing or damaged product), the customer must make precise reservations to the carrier and inform the Seller within a reasonable time, with supporting photos.

9. Right of withdrawal
The consumer has a period of 14 days from receipt to exercise the right of withdrawal without reason (except for the exclusions below). Products must be returned in their original and complete condition.

Exclusions: no right of withdrawal for:

  • customized products (size, color, bespoke design);

  • stickers with custom colors;

  • any made-to-order product.

Return costs: unless otherwise stated, direct return costs are borne by the customer. Return address: Decalkoo – 15 rue des Halles, 75001 Paris, FRANCE.

Refund: the Seller refunds within 14 days after being informed of the withdrawal and may defer the refund until effective receipt of the products or proof of shipment. Initial standard delivery costs are refunded (excluding express options).

10. Legal warranties
In addition to any commercial warranty, the customer benefits from the following legal warranties:

  • Legal warranty of conformity (2 years from delivery): in case of non-conformity, the consumer is entitled to repair or replacement free of charge, failing which a price reduction or contract termination may be claimed.

  • Warranty against hidden defects: the customer may act within 2 years from the discovery of the defect.

Requests under legal warranties must be addressed to hello@decalkoo.com with order number and photos of the defect.

11. Consumer mediation
After prior contact with customer service, the consumer may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator to seek amicable resolution of the dispute.
Decalkoo adheres/will adhere to: [to be completed: name and contact details of the consumer mediator].

Note: The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was closed on July 20, 2025. Disputes are now handled through national mediation systems.

12. Retention of title
Products remain the property of the Seller until full payment by the customer.

13. Force majeure
The Seller cannot be held liable for failure or delay in performance attributable to a case of force majeure under French law.

14. Proof & archiving
Electronic records kept under reasonable security conditions shall constitute proof of communications, orders and payments. For online orders of €120 or more, the contract is archived for 10 years and can be made available to the customer upon request.

15. Contract language
The contract is concluded in French. Translated versions are provided for information purposes only.
In case of dispute, only the French version shall prevail.

16. Intellectual property
All elements of the site (texts, images, logos, creations) are protected by intellectual property rights. Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

17. Trademarks and logos
Decalkoo is not in any way affiliated with, sponsored or approved by the mentioned car manufacturers, including Volkswagen®, Audi®, Porsche® or their subsidiaries and affiliates. Some logos, emblems and designs are registered trademarks of their respective owners.

The products offered are intended exclusively for decorative and private use, unless expressly authorized by the rights holder for public or commercial use.

Our mission is to support the restoration and maintenance of historic vehicles by providing high-quality reproductions of discontinued parts and decorations no longer supplied by OEM manufacturers.

By purchasing our products, the buyer acknowledges and accepts that the use of logos or registered trademarks remains under their sole responsibility and that they must comply with applicable intellectual property rules.

18. Applicable law & jurisdiction
These T&Cs are governed by French law. In the absence of an amicable agreement, the competent courts will be those of the Seller’s registered office.
